An academic turned entrepreneur, Leslie founded Ripeta in 2017 to improve research quality and integrity by developing Trust Markers. Now part of Digital Science and fully into developing forensic scientometrics - investigating the (mis)trust of scholarly works. Some recent work includes the most-read RetractionWatch post of 2022. In 2023, her ideas on achieving equity in research were highlighted in the Guardian and Science.

Professor Paul Roe (Dean of Research, James Cook University)
Paul is Dean, Research at James Cook University where he oversees research infrastructure and research engagement. Paul is an expert in ecoacoustic monitoring; for the past 15 years his group has been researching how acoustics can be used to scale environmental monitoring. He is passionate about open science and also leads the $1M Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC) Open Ecoacoustics project, which is developing an open ecoacoustics platform, tools, techniques and protocols to further ecoacoustic monitoring for conservation.

Carlo Iacono (University Librarian, Charles Sturt University)
Carlo Iacono is the University Librarian at Charles Sturt University, where he leads library services across six campuses. With over 24 years of leadership experience in academic and legal libraries across Australia and the UK, Carlo brings a unique cross-sectoral perspective to information service and innovation. Carlo co-authored the Charles Sturt AI principles and contributes across the sector regularly on GenAI. He also writes "Hybrid Horizons," a Substack publication exploring human-AI collaboration in education.
